About Me
My name is Mohamed Kasem. While my friends call me Kasem, I am known as Mohamed in the workplace. At 37 years old, I have built a diverse career in IT, gaining experience as a Network Administrator and System Administrator. However, my true passion lies in web development and coding.
I was born in Amsterdam but grew up in Alexandria, Egypt, before returning to Amsterdam at age 16 to complete my studies. Outside of work, I lead an active lifestyle; fitness, football, and swimming are essential parts of my daily routine.
On a personal note, I value deep connections built on mutual respect. My dream is to build a large, loving family and find a partner who stands by me through all of life’s challenges.
Work Experience & Education
My journey in IT began during my studies, where I gained hands-on experience providing IT support at a computer shop in Amsterdam. I later pursued a degree in Computer Science to deepen my knowledge, covering everything from networking to programming.
With over five years of experience in the industry—ranging from technical support and system administration to development—I have built a versatile skill set. For the past year, I have been working as a WordPress and Front-End Developer at Webbureau Amsterdam, a specialized agency within a larger organization. During this time, I have successfully completed three individual projects from start to finish.

Beyond the world of code, I have a deep passion for music. I love the creative process of songwriting—from writing lyrics to composing melodies and performing.
